Pricing
We frequently see DJs with smaller audio and lighting systems than ours who charge more than we do. We're also aware that there are DJs with small set-ups willing to play for less than we do. We are friends with many of our competitors and keep a close eye on pricing. We are confident that there is no one with a comparable set-up, music library, and experience who charges as little as we do. As our many references will testify, we work hard to add maximum value to every event we play!
We frequently book over a year in advance. Booking early is always best!
Every event is different, and pricing depends on the specifics of each event, but our general pricing guidelines are below. For larger cities such as Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, and the Quad Cities, we reserve the right to charge more
All hours below are for hours booked (usually playing time). Your time generally starts when you expect your first guests to arrive. We do not charge for set-up or take-down time. However, to perform those tasks, we will need direct access to the set-up site for at least two hours before and at least one hour after the booked time, unless other arrangements have been made.
Wedding Receptions
Rates start at $695 for up to 6 hours of playing, but pricing is highly dependent on location
Two DJs to coordinate all music and activities
Music, professional sound & lighting, introductions, announcements, etc.
$100 extra for karaoke, if requested (warning: karaoke works at receptions only if your crowd loves to sing.)
Wedding Ceremony Added to Reception
$150 to add ceremony at same venue as reception (includes 2nd audio system and wireless microphone for officiant)
Note: If playing ceremony music, it includes one extra hour of time (7 hours instead of 6). Your 7 hours starts 30 minutes before the ceremony begins, at which time we will be begin playing pre-ceremony music as guests are seated. If requested, we will play beyond 7 hours. See rates below.
School Events, Parties, Corporations, Reunions, Clubs, Fundraisers, Bars, etc.
Rates start at $545 for up to 4 hours of playing, but pricing is highly dependent on location
Two DJs, music, professional sound & lighting
$75 extra for karaoke, if requested
Travel
For events beyond 30 miles from Mt. Pleasant, IA, a travel charge will apply. We can provide a quote in minutes.
Additional Time
$50 per half hour (applies to all events).

The above pricing covers 95% of our events, but we do have some options that may require separate pricing.
Custom "Mash-ups"
Pricing depends on the specifics of the mash-up / mix and the number of included songs.
