Pricing

We frequently see DJs with smaller audio and lighting systems than ours who charge more than we do. We're also aware that there are DJs with small set-ups willing to play for less than we do. We are friends with many of our competitors and keep a close eye on pricing. We are confident that there is no one with a comparable set-up, music library, and experience who charges as little as we do. As our many references will testify, we work hard to add maximum value to every event we play!

Every event is different, and pricing depends on the specifics of each event, but our general pricing guidelines are below.

 

All hours below are for hours booked (usually playing time). Your time generally starts when you expect your first guests to arrive. We do not charge for set-up or take-down time. However, to perform those tasks, we will need direct access to the set-up site for at least two hours before and at least one hour after the booked time, unless other arrangements have been made.

 

Notes on pricing:

Pricing is subject to change based on the number of available upcoming dates. We frequently book completely out over a year in advance. Booking early is always best!

 

All pricing below is for events booked directly through us. If booked through a subscription service, other pricing may apply.

 

Wedding Receptions
$650 for up to 6 hours
Two DJs to coordinate all music and activities
Music, professional sound & lighting, introductions, announcements, etc
$100 extra for karaoke, if requested

 

Wedding Ceremony Music Added to Reception

$150 to Add Ceremony (Includes Second Audio System if Needed and Wireless Microphone for Officiant)

Note: If playing ceremony music, it includes one extra hour of time (7 hours instead of 6). Your 7 hours starts 30 minutes before the ceremony begins, at which time we will be begin playing pre-ceremony music as guests are seated. If requested, we will play beyond 7 hours. See rates below.

 

School Events, Parties, Corporations, Reunions, Clubs, Fundraisers, Bars, etc.

$450 for up to 4 hours
$600 for up to 6 hours

Two DJs, music, professional sound & lighting
$75 extra for karaoke, if requested

Travel

For events beyond 30 miles from Mt. Pleasant, IA, a travel charge may apply. We are very willing to travel, and can provide a quote in seconds. There is no travel charge if within 30 miles of Mt. Pleasant, such as for Burlington.

Additional Time

$75/hr (applies to all events).

The above prices cover 90% of our events, but we do have some options that may require separate pricing.

Larger Cities

For larger cities, such as Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, and the Quad Cities we may quote more, depending on the event's logistics.

Custom "Mash-ups"

Pricing depends on the specifics of the mash-up / mix and the number of included songs.

Video and/or Slideshow Projection, High Definition Projector, and Screen
